Further Support for People facing Eating Disorders

Based on the information you have provided, it sounds like your difficulties with eating are having a big impact on you. We want you to get the right help and we recommend that you access specialist support for eating disorders and weight management.
Leeds Mental Wellbeing Service are not specialists in difficulties with eating and do not offer treatment for these issues. However, you can contact your GP for support or access instant resources via Mindwell. These include:
- FREED – First Episode Rapid Early Intervention for Eating Disorders
- BEAT Eating Disorders Helplines – 0808 801 0677. Helplines are open 365 days a year from midday–midnight during the week, and 4pm–midnight on weekends and bank holidays.
- Connect: The West Yorkshire Adult Eating Disorders Service – To refer, please contact your GP who will complete the referral for you.
- One You Leeds – Provides support for managing weight and eating better, with 12 free one-hour classes. BMI has to be 25 or higher. For further information, contact One You Leeds on 08001694219.
