Struggling with Motivation
Struggling with Motivation
Are you struggling with motivation? Is low mood or anxiety causing you to put things off? Are you finding it difficult to complete daily tasks?
Struggling to do activities, such as spending time with friends, completing an assignment for work, or doing the household chores, is very common when feeling low in mood, stressed, or anxious. The problem is it can mean we stop doing a lot of the things that gave us a sense of achievement or enjoyment, leading to feeling even more low in mood or stressed.
We are currently offering a 1-hour session to explore the effects motivation can have on our mental wellbeing and the factors that affect our motivation. The session will cover:
- Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) self-help techniques
- Understanding internal and external factors that can affect motivation
- Tools to manage low motivation and how to increase our day-to-day behaviours to become more active.
This class is open to anyone age 17+ who is registered with a Leeds GP. Book your place below.
