Get involved
LMWS has a Coproduction Network, which brings together staff members with professional expertise and people with personal lived experience of mental health difficulties to collaborate on improvements for the service.
The Coproduction Network is open to anyone in Leeds with personal experience of mental health difficulties or supporting others through them. We’d especially like to hear from people that are using, or have used, LMWS.
Members of the network are involved in different projects depending on their interests, skills, goals, and availability.
Our current opportunities include
- A monthly Lived Experience Reference Group that contributes to decision-making across LMWS
- The chance to be on recruitment panels
- Short consultations (surveys and focus groups) about specific changes and developments in the service
- Projects focused on improving the service for specific communities:
- The LGBTQIA+ community
- People living in the LS9 postcode area
- People living in Beeston
- Men

How to join the Coproduction Network
If you are interested in improving mental health services in Leeds, you can sign up to be a member of the network.
We will arrange to meet with you to discuss your interests and what you’d like to get out of membership, and from there you can get involved with relevant projects.
